Crossroads Tutoring

These Terms and Conditions ("T&Cs") govern the provision of tutoring services by Crossroads Tutoring ("We," "Us," or "Our") to the student and their parent/guardian ("Client" or "You"). By engaging Our services, You agree to be bound by these T&Cs.

1. Scope of Services

Crossroads Tutoring provides one-on-one and/or group tutoring services in various academic subjects and test preparation. The specific subjects, schedule, and duration will be mutually agreed upon and outlined in a separate booking or agreement form.

2. Disclaimer of Guarantees

• Academic Results: We are committed to providing high-quality instruction and support. However, We cannot and do not guarantee specific academic results, grades, or passing scores. A student's success is dependent on various factors, including their effort, attendance, study habits, prior knowledge, and the quality of their formal schooling.
• Test Scores: Similarly, for test preparation services, We cannot and do not guarantee specific improvements in test scores (e.g., SAT, ACT, AP, etc.). Our role is to provide effective strategies, content review, and practice, but the final outcome remains the sole responsibility of the student.

3. Financial Terms and Payment

3.1 Fees: The Client agrees to pay the fees for tutoring services as communicated at the time of booking. Fees are subject to change with reasonable notice.

3.2 Text Message Invoicing Consent: By engaging Crossroads Tutoring's services, You explicitly authorize Us to opt You in to a text message (SMS) invoicing system. You agree to receive invoices, payment reminders, and payment confirmation messages via the mobile phone number provided. Standard message and data rates may apply. You can opt-out at any time.

3.3 Late Payment: Invoices are due upon receipt.

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling

In the rare event a tutor must cancel a session, We will make every effort to notify you as soon as possible and will reschedule the session at a mutually convenient time. No charge will be applied for sessions canceled by the tutor.

5. Confidentiality

All information shared by the student or Client regarding academic challenges, personal details, or grades will be kept strictly confidential, except where disclosure is required by law or necessary to address immediate safety concerns.

6. Termination of Service

We reserve the right to terminate services immediately without refund if the Client or student breaches these T&Cs, including non-payment of fees or inappropriate behavior.

7. Governing Law

These T&Cs shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in San Diego, CA.
